Job Responsibilities
Lead cross‑functional teams to define exploration and production strategies in line with corporate goals Drive technical excellence by evaluating new drilling technologies and optimizing reservoir management practices Develop and manage multi‑year project budgets, ensuring profitability and regulatory compliance Foster a culture of safety and sustainability across all operational teams Collaborate with global stakeholders to secure partnerships and secure funding for expansion initiatives Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on complex engineering challenges and career development

Educational Requirements
Senior roles require a Master’s or PhD in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience, or Environmental Management. Chartered Engineer status, ISO 9001 lead auditor, and ISO 14001 environmental management certifications are essential.
Experience Requirements
3-5 years in upstream oil and gas, proven drilling or reservoir engineering. Expertise in CAD, seismic interpretation, Well Control, safety standards, and project management. Demonstrated results improving production efficiency or reducing costs.
Additional Requirements
Required soft skills include teamwork, problem‑solving, communication, adaptability, and proactive initiative. Technical proficiencies: seismic interpretation, reservoir simulation, drilling optimization software, data analytics, and safety management. Language skills: fluent in Dutch and English, with basic French desirable.
